Paul Newton is a Non–Executive Director of a number of UK Charities and an International Advocate for the International Justice Mission, the world’s largest global anti–slavery organisation. Paul is a solicitor. He was the General Counsel of the leading international healthcare organisation, Bupa, until his retirement at the end of 2016 after 30 years where he headed up a large multi–award winning global legal function. He was also a member of Bupa’s Executive Team. In addition to his other responsibilities, Paul is a regular panel speaker for the in–house division of the Law Society. He and his wife Marina live in London and are both respite foster carers. They have two grown up children. His key hobbies and pastimes are fly fishing and soccer. Paul is a graduate in Theology from the London School of Theology.
